Metea Valley High School Reviews
Rating 4.04 out of 5 713 reviews
I love the teachers and their willingness to help students out with any difficulties they may have. Additionally, the culture of the school is amazing as many people want to be involved in something or the other! One aspect I would love to see changed is the freedom granted to students around the building as it will create a sense of trust and confidence between the students and the administration.
Being able to have the experience of studying at Metea for 4 years even though two of them were taken away from me because of Covid, I would have asked for a better school! The teachers a great and they take in each kid as their own. They all love their job and provide students with a very high level of education. Our student body is very large which also creates a great atmosphere to grow up in, meeting so many people, crowds at sporting events, and seeing so many new faces each day!
Metea has a lot of resources for motivated students to succeed! Especially for students interested in the business field (there is the business professionals of America and DECA) and law/political science (youth and government). Overall, the staff is pretty decent for the humanities classes and just okay for math; however, much of the science staff are not well-versed in their subject and students should be expected to self-teach themselves. With that said, I have had my share of effective science teachers, but generally they are a hit or miss.
