I mean academics are good and the teachers are great. But there is so much BS between students. The kids with all the money look down on us with less or those of us who have to work. Having a last name in this county means everything. I was a great lineman in football and got snuffed out because a freshman had a dad on the school board. But if you can get through and avoid people you'll find it great.
I enjoyed school here. There are so many opportunities at MCHS as well as community involvement. There is something for everyone. I enjoyed being part of the basketball team for four years as well as a Student Ambassador for the school.
Metcalfe County High school is a fun learning experience. The teachers and staff go out of their way to help if in need. Sports, clubs, and anything that the students try their best is noticed and a big deal to everyone. The community is a big supporter of the school. The school and community make you feel as a family. One thing that I would like to be changed in Metcalfe county high school is the food, however the ladies in the cafeteria do the best with what they have. I am very grateful to attend such a great school.
