Our son is at Country Day and my husband and I could not be happier. We looked at several other schools and selecting one was a very difficult decision. We live uptown and were worried about the commute each day--but it has not been an issue at all. We are so glad we chose Country Day! The teachers are amazing, the facilities are spectacular, and our son is so happy to go to school every day. You can't go wrong with Country Day.
I’ve been at Country Day for thirteen years (Pre-K to 11th grade) and couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow up in. I love my campus, my community, and my teachers, and I welcome the upcoming changes to the administration (previously lacking because of a faulty Head of School). Trust and respect are givens in this community; you can leave your backpack or other belongings anywhere on campus and they won’t be touched. If you’re considering MPCDS you should definitely ask about our dining experience (family-style lunches). The only current issue I have with the school is that, as of last year, cell phone use of any kind has been banned between 8 am and 3:30 pm, and it is inconvenient in ways you might not expect.
