My experience at Messmer has been bitter sweet. Being at Messmer since k-4 is a shocker you grown bonds with students and teachers around you, and before you know it your on your way to graduating. Messmer has helped me in a way, the types of teaching technics we have at our school gets you prepared on a college level. The essays we write, the topics we discuss helps me get a feel for college life. Also just being a leader of the school really helps, all my teachers see me as someone who willing to work hard and someone who’s very dependable. Just the last year I tore my ACL from playing basketball and that was a really hard time, but I had friends who would help me so much and teachers who were very understanding of my situation.
Messmer High School has prepared me to be confident and improved my ability in accelerating for higher grades throughout my high school year. Although it has been challenging, peers and staff at MHS assured and encouraged me in growing my knowledge through the education. The opportunity that I was given at MHS such as being able to read on stage during mass and morning announcement has prepared me to challenge myself in communicating.
The administration is not the best—also, very high expectations. The retake policy is also very bad.
