I have been a Mesquite mom for 7 years. My oldest is now a 6th grader and my youngest is currently a 5th grader. We have been blessed to be a part of the Chinese Immersion program. All of the teachers at Mesquite have been amazing for both of my girls. I also can't say enough about our Special Education team. They have been there to support both my daughter and me through her years at Mesquite. My girls have had the chance to participate in art, drama, National Elementary Honor Society, and more.

Status quo is never okay at Mesquite. They are always looking for ways to improve and lead the area in education. We are lucky to have such an amazing family of teachers and staff!

I have been a Mesquite parent for 8 years and I have 3 children. We have had the honor of having so many wonderful teachers who truly love their students and love teaching. The school provides many services for children tailored to their needs. Mesquite has a rich culture of kindness and respect, honesty and responsibility. The clubs and specials at Mesquite can’t be topped. From art club to kind club, from Chinese club to girls on the run, there’s really something for everyone. Our children have PE, library enrichment, music, art, and computer lab each week to provide them experiences beyond just being in a classroom. The principal and assistant to the principal are extremely responsive, invest their time not just to be in an office but to really connect with the kids. I feel so lucky that 8 years ago we walked into our little neighborhood school knowing nothing about school or education, and were immediately part of the Mesquite family. Mesquite is truly the very best.
I have two students at Mesquite. One in fifth grade and one in the Chinese Immersion program in third grade. Both my students love the school and their teachers. Both my students feel loved by their current and past teachers. My son loved his third grade teacher. When my children need extra help, the classroom teachers go out of their way to help out. My two little ones feel safe on campus. They love going to Art, Music, PE, Library, and the computer lab. My daughter loves being part of Student Council and the Kind Club. My son loves Soccer Club and Art Club.
