Mesa Christian Academy Reviews
Rating 4.75 out of 5 4 reviews
I was transferred from Valley Baptist School to Mesa Christian Academy for my senior year of high school. However, when I came to MCA, I realized that I had credits missing the VBS did not give me. I then had to face the fact that I may not graduate. I was really mad at VBS because they used the same curriculum as MCA, so they would have known that they were not giving me the required credits. But, the teachers at MCS helped me through everything. I ended up taking two Math classes, three Social Studies classes, and a speech class all because my other school was not being honest with me. I was determined to finish, so I sat down and wrote the word graduate on about thirty notecards and finished my senior year six weeks early. If these teachers did not focus on the credits that I needed, I would NOT have graduated! I am so happy that I transferred schools before my senior. I love the teachers at MCA because they did not sugar coat the issue; they sat down with me and helped me graduate!
MCA is an amazing, individualized school experience. My daughters have thrived & will both graduate early, since they are not being held back waiting for others to catch up. My oldest is able to do dual enrollment through Grand Canyon University while at school & will receive some nice scholarship money for GCU because of attending MCA. I like that they also offer chapel, art, PE, sign language, and general music for all grades. I highly recommend it!
Mesa Christian Academy is a good school overall. They will accept students from all backgrounds and their tuition and fees and lower than the average private schools in the area. The staff are hardworking, CPR-certified, and good at what they do, although sometimes they can be too strict and hard on the students.
