Mercymount Country Day School Reviews
Rating 5 out of 5 6 reviews
Mercymount School is more than an excellent education. It is family! Our family's dearest friends are those we have made at our school over the last 9 years. Students here receive an excellent education from dedicated and caring teachers who go above and beyond to give each child what they need to succeed. But the school is more than just an excellent education. The faculty, staff, administration and culture of the school teach the children mercy, compassion, empathy, and to think of others less fortunate all of which help contribute positively to our world today.
Very happy with the education our child is receiving at Mercymount. The school feels more like a private school without the added cost. Small class sizes, challenging curriculum, teachers that are engaged with the students and their families. The student body as a whole is respectful and well behaved, an important item for us as parents particularly given many of the challenges we hear from friends with children in public schools. Our son also appears to be excelling academically, reading at one grade level above. As a family we can't afford an elite private school and public school unfortunately isn't what it used to be these days, for us Mercymount fills that gap perfectly.
Our experience at Mercymount has been wonderful. The academic program is very strong, we've been amazed at what the students are able to accomplish and how well the school prepares them for high school. Teachers are passionate and dedicated and the facilities are amazing. The school also goes beyond academics to teach important life skills like emotional intelligence, maturity and compassion. I would recommend to anyone looking for an incredible education for their child.
