It's a very tight not school in a great neighborhood with alot of parent involvement. They have all the sports you can imagine and the community is very involved when it comes to game days. All the clubs you can possibly think of from creative writing to dungeons and dragons. The kids are super welcoming to new comers and with it being such a small campus you can definitely get around easily. The teachers help alot if you are struggling and tend to give you extra time if there are things going on as well. The principle, Mrs.Day, is really great to at making sure anything you could possibly need us at the ready. Overall, it is a pretty nice school and has a very welcoming atmosphere.
Mercer County was a really good school. I transferred from another high school my sophomore year and I didn't know if I would like this new school. When I got there my first day, I never felt so comfortable and confident at any school. It was easy to conversate, the academics are outstanding. It's an all around great school. The athletics, the staff, the students, the clubs, everything is amazing!
There are times when certain situations are not dealt with correctly. The boys that play football are favored, by an administrator. There seem to be more and more situations and circumstances that are swept under the rug.
