Throughout my childhood, I’ve always pondered about whether or not I’ll ever get to be in high school. Covid-19 took my first year as a freshman from me. Throughout my sophomore year, I once again connected those severed memories I had in middle school. My sophomore year went by fast, but it also set the foundation of where my goals and dreams began. My amazing teachers, Mrs. Vidal and Mr. Blaha, were one of the many people who set me free. I say free as in evaluating and guiding me throughout my struggles, personal life, and as a student. I for one, now look back as a senior, and wish all the things I could’ve done. However, there is no place in the past for us. We live in the present. We shouldn’t take our lives for granted. Life is too short to look back and regret what we did. Everything we have done, every assignment, every test, every lesson that we learn, has merely shaped us into the person we are today. Memorial High School in Mcallen, TX, has exceeded in every students life.
I was attending this school for four years. It was the most exciting experience in my life. There is always something good going on clubs, band, and orchestra always had events to raise money for each clubs and make more experiences available for everyone. Like every high school there is good days and bad days. I was parts of Spanish Honor Society and every event we attended was fun there was a lot of diversity and it made everything much more exciting. It gave me a very good experience and I am sure it doest that for a lot of students there.
When I went to school I had a blast being a teenager with no responsibilities and being able to make a lot of friends that I would hang out with and become lifelong friends with. The teachers were great, well mostly all of them, there were a few that weren’t the best but the best of them did make up for them
