Memorial Early College High School has been an extraordinary High School experience. The teachers encourage collaboration and in-depth learning as well as asking questions for a better learning experience. The students are eager to learn and are respectful to the teachers and the curriculum. The project-based learning curriculum that is utilized at MECHS is extremely beneficial to developing real-world skills such as public speaking skills, collaboration, research, and much more. Considering all of this, I believe that MECHS is a wonderful High School and will only continue to improve in the future.

Memorial Early College High School has been the best choice I have EVER made. This rigorous school allows students to gain 68 college hours along with their high school diploma. We have many dual credit, pre-AP, and AP classes that prepare students for that next step towards university. Right now I am taking AP Calculus AB, dual credit A&P, British Literature I, Texas Government, Robotics II, and AP Computer Science Principles. I can say without a doubt that we have some of the best--perhaps maybe THE best--teachers out of the entirety of Comal ISD. One major improvement I can see lies in our facilities. Our campus is cramped compared to the likes of other high schools within the areal. We basically could use a lot more space for our extracurricular activities. We also need more space because our class sizes are starting to grow as more and more students choose to remain at our school. On a final note, our school lacks sports, so that is an issue for a few--but not many--students.
My experience at Memorial Early College High School (MECHS) has been amazing! The students, teachers, and staff are all dedicated and strive to support each other in every way possible. I have received ample support from the staff here throughout my high school experience. We are a STEM, New Tech, and PBL school. There are many clubs and organizations that I have participated in during my time here. This is a small school, so one on one help with teachers is constantly an option! I wouldn't have changed anything about this experience, because every experience has helped me grow as a student and as a person.
