My experience at Meigs High School has been very great. Better than other schools I have attended. I feel that the teachers create better personal connections and care about you and are more willing to help you succeed. Whenever I needed help with something, there was always someone there willing to get me the answers I needed. The guidance counselors were always vigilant on making sure you were on the right track to graduate and were very amazing at getting your papers and such to the places they needed to go.

I have had an average high school experience. Meigs has a little over five hundred students so it is easy to know everyone. I enjoy attending a smaller school, it is less stress on individuals. Most teachers are friendly and helpful and try to relate the their students. The principles are normally in the halls greeting students that walk past and asking how they are doing. If I had to i would change a lot about the school. I would definitely change our lunches. Most of the time they are cold and under cooked or the milk is expired.
It has been a typical high school experience. I have participated In two sports throughout school. I have received a good education for the area we are in. I like that it is a smaller school and you recognize almost everyone and can start a conversation with most people. Most teachers try to be involved with their students and help them in the most ways possible. However there are things I would change about MHS. Our school lunches are normally expired or undercooked and cold. I would also reverse our new school schedule. Taking away study halls has been a hassle for many as it has taken away time from students that they need to catch up on work.
