My daughter is in her second year. She loves it and couldn't wait for the summer to end so she could go back to school. Her grades are excellent. There are several teachers she speaks very highly of, that have really kept her engaged, deal incredibly well with this age group, and have made her educational ecperience well above what I saw at public schools. Thank you Mr. Dulce, Mr. Lopez, Mr. Conforti, and Mr. Henderson and also her robotics teacher. There have been 2 teachers that were not up to par, one is no longer there and the other just has some techniques that take some getting used too, but that is no different than college! I also am keeping my eye on the schools degree of focus on college preparedness for my child, so far so good, but I do see other schools with more drive in this area. The combination of these things = 4 stars.
Almost all of the teachers are amazing and incredibly understanding. Although the lack accessibility for disabled students is disappointing and the culture can be polarizing if you aren’t willing to be friends with EVERYONE, but the resources are great if you’re interested in the film industry (their other programs are sorely lacking).
