Mead is a great school. They have excellent teachers who truly care about how well we re understanding material and they want us to excell. The only thing I think they can improve on is caring about our seniors during this hard time. Most other schools in the spokane area have done so much for their seniors including spray painting on football fields, decorating parking spots and delivering signs to every seniors house. Mead has delivered signs to seniors; however, I know quite a few who did not happen to get one. I therefore think Mead needs to do more but other than that, they are amazing!

I liked my options to take a variety of different classes. Whether this was my PE classes, where I could choose between yoga, weights, racket sports, and many more. Science classes offered to me were also interesting, we had anatomy, different types of chemistry, and many AP courses available to us. The AP courses were vast in all areas of study. Something that stood out to me is offering a psychology course.

There seem to be some instability with faculty when I was there. I believe I had three different principles over my four years. I also had a teacher who was certified to teach history as a substitute for my chemistry teacher when she went on maternity leave for half of the year.
Mead Senior High School, is one of the few places on earth, where kids with interests all across the board, feel like they belong. All of the students and staff, are welcoming, kind, and open to new ideas and things students can bring to the classroom. There is a wide range and variety of clubs, sports, and other after school activities for kids to participate in. There is so many clubs, that every student, can find a place to go after school, where they feel like they belong, or have something valuable to contribute. The sports, are very well run, and all of the coaches, are extraordinary, and invest their own time, into making sure their athletes, have the best possible high school athletic experience.
