McLean County High School Reviews
Rating 3.54 out of 5 67 reviews
Mclean County High School is a great school. The teachers are very caring and helpful. This High School is like a family everyone is close and everyone helps each other out. Mclean County High School is a very small school. So everyone knows everyone. I transferred my senior year. The students, teachers, and staff could not have been anymore kind to me. They welcomed me with open arms and I am so grateful. I have moderate to severe dyslexia and the staff and teachers were so helpful and caring with getting my accommodations in place. Mclean County High School is a wonderful school and a wonderful community. I would recommend this school to anyone. I do think a persons overall experience in high school is very important and has a strong impact for every young adult.
It is a small school, but you make a lot of good memories and friendships. Everyone knows everyone and that is nice to have that. Whenever I moved to McLean County in 6th grade, I was welcomed with open arms, and I will forever be thankful for that.
McLean County High School, is a good school to attend, but could be better. One good part about the school is that there are some good teachers, and some good classes, but other parts of the school are not as good. There are a few teachers that do not have our best interests at heart. The food is also an issue. Most students do not care for the food, and prefer to go to Subway, or bring their own lunch. The other reason that the school struggles is because there are not enough teachers at the school. There are some days when all of the teachers have to go to meetings, or most of them are out from being sick, and there aren't enough teachers to watch the students. While that is one problem dealing with the lack of teachers, there are other days where the teachers can't focus mainly on the students. That is one of the biggest problems for this school.
