McKenzie High School is a very good school for someone who likes smaller classroom learning. McKenzie being small is an advantage educationally because the teachers all know your name, and are able to focus on your way of learning. All of the staff and faculty that I encountered in my four years at McKenzie High School were kind and understanding of any issues that I may have had.
You would expect a small school to not have the funding to be able to hire experienced teachers but McKenzie high school makes the most out of the resources they have. Compared to other high schools in the are I am confident that McKenzie high school hires the most qualified and driven teachers. I have never felt that my teacher was under qualified for their position
To sum everything up, McKenzie High School is for the students, and truly cares about the learning environment.

MHS has provided me with such a wonderful high school experience! The faculty, administration, staff, and students have impacted my life in such a positive way! Their daily encouragement to give 100 percent and reach our lifetime dreams is such a blessing! I love the closeness we all share at MHS! The only thing I would change is to be able to experience it all over again, but as a Senior I must move on. I’ll never forget the impact of MHS and honestly all of my years at McKenzie from Kindergarten up! Cameron Kee
McKenzie High School to me is like home. The school is surrounded with amazing teachers, faculty, and staff. Everyone knows each other by name. You are welcomed as soon as you walk through those doors as a Freshman. McKenzie High School is filled with Christian athletes, kind-hearted individuals, and warm smiling faces. Every morning you walk in you are greeted with a smile and a hello from just about all of your teachers and you walk to your first class to start the day. If anyone else is like me, then they dread school first thing of a morning, but these grinning faces make you feel like you’ve had 3 cups of coffee. McKenzie High School had shaped me from a non caring student to the A student I am now, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
