McFatter was a wonderful school that I'm proud to say I attended. Teachers and Staff were willing to help you out if you ever asked and there were plenty of tutoring opportunities. Although we may not have a sports team or a proper band, we make up for it with plentiful clubs. The P.E. course was also very fun. They offer many AP courses that will all help complete your GEP requirements for college, as well as offer Dula Enrollment. The technical programs really are the star of the show. I'm coming out of high school already as a nurse! How cool is that? Anyone can go in and come out with many different certifications that can help you immediately find a better-paying job. Despite also being a college campus, the school takes extra precautions to keep the high school students and the college students separated and have plenty of officers on site if anything were to happen. And lastly, our fires and patty melts are to die for!
McFatter is a very different school. I mean that in the best way possible. After having a "regular high school experience" I have something to compare my time at McFatter to.
I loved my old school the only reason I left was to attend the LPN program. However academically speaking this was the best decision I could have ever made. It's a very small school. My old class was a little over 700 students here the whole senior class is only 142 students. Everyone knows everyone on a more personal level and theirs a lot more guidance here, especially for college.
There are no sports teams only clubs however you can still play for your zoned school. Unfortunately, they no longer allow study halls or senior privllages like most schools. But hey you win some you loose some no schools perfect over all it was a great experience. I am very happy to have experienced both MFatter and West Broward.
Side note: It's called McFatter for a reason, the food is actually really delicious!

This was an excellent experience. The instructors were amazing! I had Jay Gunsten and was overly impressed with his level of knowledge and how much he cared. There were approximately 10 instructors total and all were excellent. Excited for what's next to come. The classes were great, the test were definitely tough but I passed my National EKG exam on the first try so they def prepared us.
