McFatter Technical High School is an absolutely amazing school! The teachers and staff are very helpful and do their best to prepare the students for their futures whether they're going right into college or heading into the workforce. I found that the student body is also one of the best things about McFatter, not only is it a smaller school but the students are very welcoming and kinder than most would expect.

Most of the staff seem to know what they've been talking about, and the course content feels challenging and not boring for the most part. Now, that it's excellence also comes with a handful of issues. This institution looks to set you up and make you competitive to the eyes of colleges, but the issue with this is the lack of flexibility. You DO NOT choose your courses, you may only choose what level you take them. They also FORCE you to take two language credits, REGARDLESS of you having already had them. There's also a number of classes you're forced to take (Health Skills, Emerging Technologies in Business, and then some). Besides these glaring issues, McFatter is still a great, respectable institution. The fact that it also gives you the opportunity to not only graduate with a high school diploma, but also give you the opportunity dual enroll at the neighboring Broward College, and graduate with a certification in a SPECIALIZING COLLEGE PROGRAM of your choice is excellent.
Mcfatter is a great high school. Diverse and welcoming. When starting high school as a freshmen I felt very shy and timid, the staff and teachers welcomed me and accepted me and made me feel comfortable. The curriculum is excellent it’s a great school to prepare your student for college and prepare them for the real world. I wouldn’t want to attend anyother high school. Mcfatter is the place to be!
