McCracken County High School is overall an excellent school. It has had some leadership issues in the past but with some new administration having been added, I believe things will get on track. The academics offered are excellent and the sports opportunities are awesome! Coaches are the bomb! Some of the teachers could use a boost in their morale, though. Some of their attitudes suck as if they were sulky, angry, moody teenagers. After that being stated, I want to say that opportunities can be many for the kids that walk through these doors, first, as shy, insecure kids and then they leave as self-confident young adults, ready to go conquer the world issues at hand with great hope in their hearts. Whatever the occupation that is chosen, each and every one will have an important place in this world that we live in.
McCracken County High School is the current high school I attend as a senior. There is such a strong sense of family at my school. Through the years we have gone through incidents we never thought we would be able to make it through. Yet, with the faculty and staff that we have, we have been able to overcome these things. High school has been a different environment me and has taught me things I never thought I would learn. The community at my school is so amazing and makes sure that every student matters. Our school motto is "Everyone matters, every moment counts". This phrase has helped my peers and I to realize the important things in live and were able to take advantage of every second we're given. I think my school is extraordinary and I would not want to go anywhere else!
I am a senior at McCracken County High School. I have had a wonderful experience and the teachers are amazing! There are so many classes to take, not just your regular math, english, and science classes.
