McCook Central is a small school in a small community, so it provides many unique opportunities. The students are able to have good and close relationships with teachers and peers. Students are able to be flexible with their time and take up as many extracurriculars as they want, and the school encourages it. The classes offered at the school are manageable and also challenging. McCook Central has one of the best agriculture programs in FFA in the whole country. It also has a notable National Honors Society, Fellowship Christian Athletes, and Student Council programs.
I thought that this school gave me the chance to grow and learn more to prepare me for college. I really enjoy the atmosphere here because everyone knows each other and everyone is very friendly. I think McCook Central is a good school because there are many different opportunities here whether that is for sports or something like FFA.
At McCook Central, there are few enough people to where you are close with any person you come in contact with. The teachers have an amazing relationship with all of the students and the administration is welcoming.
