I take all Honors and AP courses and participate in numerous activities outside of school hours. I am currently in my senior year, so I have a few years that I was able to build good relations with my teachers and other staff members.

Many teachers have spent extra time outside or even during class to give me guidance or extra help in whichever subject or situation that I am struggling with. All I have had to do for most of classes was seek help when I needed it, because if I would have kept to myself or tried doing everything alone, then I would not be as successful in school as I am right now with a 4.3 GPA (on a 5.0 scale).

So overall, my experience with McCluer North High School has been a fantastic one! I have so much appreciation for this school.

McCluer North High School is a place full of eager students. Teachers push us to the max to become who were destined to be. They offer some of the best class even dual credit classes. You can gain college credits before you’re even enrolled in college. They always give us a head start to our future. Not only are we good academically sports are also good. Basketball , track and field, and even cheerleading. I would recommend children and the area attend even though we aren’t a private school. However, having good grades can give you the best opportunities around. We have and IB program that most school don’t offer giving students an IB diploma.
McCluer is not the best school but they have their pros such as although all schools have cliques we as a school, stick together and I like that! I would like too see administrators care about us more, I feel like teachers sometimes can get away with a lot in how they treat us because most of the teachers are white and our school is predominantly black and sometimes when things happen our administration gives us no justice but as a student body we stick together. Academics are really easy like your average common core classes aren’t challenging but the honors classes and Advanced Placement classes do give you that challenge you need but sometimes the teachers don’t care about you as a student so get your work done the best way you can!
