I have attended McCallie since the 6th grade. Originally, my parents were iffy about sending me here because of the incredibly high tuition cost and the apparent social dominance of the affluent students. However, they now look back on my time here and are so thankful they sent me here. They say that it was worth every penny.
McCallie has molde me into the man I am today. I came here competitive, a little arrogant, and impulsive. I’m leaving as a passionate, driven, intelligent, and visionary student.
McCallie is exactly what you make it. If you want to be the athlete, we have the resources to make that happen. Go talk to Coach Henderson and you’ll see how far he can take you. If you want to be the nicest kid on campus, go talk to the Dining Hall Staff. Brenda, Tommy, and Chad are all so sweet! If you want to be a goofball, go talk to Mr. Currin. If you want to be the smartest kid, talk to literally any teacher.
You an be anything! I love it here, and you will too! Go blue!

Our family has absolutely loved McCallie. Having two sons that board at McCallie, I have witnessed my boys grow in so many ways with the wonderful support of the faculty and advisors. McCallie gives young men the opportunity to grow intellectually, socially, athletically and artistically. What I especially love about McCallie are the relationships that are formed by boarding with others and having to depend on yourself and others for your success. This creates a wonderful bond among friends and faculty. The McCallie advisors do a fantastic job of helping the guys through the college application and selection process as well! Overall it is a fantastic school with fantastic faculty that truly care for the boys and help them grow into young men prepared for college and life beyond college. If you have a motivated young man that wants to be challenged and grow, McCallie is a great community for that to take place!
About one year we can not go to Campus because of Covid-19, we only have online class at home but the school refuse to refund any cent on what we paid for food and dorm as boarding student. If the boarding students live in the dorm in the holiday this time, the school can not supply food to them in the holiday some days no lunch, some days nothing to eat for all the day!
