I love the Catholic Community in this school. Everyone knows each other and no one is a stranger to another person in this school. We take pride in everything that we do, whether it’s an athletic event, or something as simple as wearing a Mcauley shirt out in public. As a senior at Mcauley this year, I couldn’t even imagine going to school anywhere else, the friends that I’ve made are the friends that I went to preschool with. Often times that is just simply unheard of, but not at Mcauley. The effort that the teachers and other faculty members put in to the students is also so incredible and inspiring. These teachers want nothing but success for every student at Mcauley, and they won’t stop until we walk across that stage to receive our diplomas. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be involved in this school system for my entire life, and I can’t wait to see the great things that will come in the future.
Could be better. Administration is not very good, the counselor seems to do more work than anyone. There are very few activities that happen throughout the year, the ones that used to happen, they took away. Teachers are cool, don't have a lot of homework except in math. Overall, there is no excitement.
I enjoy the smaller class sizes that are offered in our school. The teachers have more opportunities to help students 1 on 1 rather than a whole group. Our sports are good but due to decreasing interest we are slowly losing teams. Everyone is very encouraging and there are no bullying issues that have to be dealt with on a daily basis. There are multiple honors courses offered which help to prepare the students for college and life outside of the home. Christ is the center of everything we do and this has really helped our school and it's recognition in producing Christ- like students. Overall it has been a very happy and fun experience to attend this school.
