My experience at Mazama High School has been very good. It is a school with about 600 students, but we each feel like we have part to do. The teachers and administration is great. They help us apply for dual-credit class and make sure we maintain a high GPA. Going to Mazama has been a great four years. Always proud to be a Viking!

I came into Mazama as a Freshman after living in a small town, Pe Ell, Washington, which only had a population of 600 people. All of the students and teachers here are very open and accepting people. The way the curriculum is taught is easy to follow, but it's also challenging enough to make you really think about it. There is a lot of diversity and other activities like clubs, sports, and music programs to make it a really fun environment. I love attending Mazama because so many of the students and staff actively participate in events and work hard for their futures. The only problem I've encountered so far is that sometimes they place honors classes during the same period of an elective. This then makes it hard to decide between a passion, like music, and an honors class, like Advanced Chemistry. Mazama has been the best school I have ever attended and I am looking forward to creating more memories here.
Mazama High-school has been and overall pleasant experience, I have made many friends learned many things. I developed as a character there and I am grateful for the opportunities they have allowed me to have and all of the memories I've made there. I would love to see more teacher involvement with their students. There are a few teachers at Mazama High-school that truly care about our future as students but there are also teachers that are just the to get paid. It was a positive experience none the less.
