I have absolutely enjoyed the past four years at Mayo High School. I came from a very small middle school, going into a high school with over 1,000 students, but everyone was so kind and welcoming that I quickly made new friends. There is always something to do at Mayo, whether it be sporting events, clubs and other ways to get involved. I myself was involved in sports, and for a couple of years I was apart of Mayo's volunteering club. If you can't find something that fits your interests, you always have the option to start your own club! Activities at Mayo High School are a great way to make friends, learn new things, and overall improve your high school experience.

Mayo High School is very inclusive and the environment there is great! My experience there has been nothing but positive. We have many school activities that make everyone feel involved. Examples are sporting events, school dances, information nights for incoming 9th graders, school plays, etc.. There are a variety of different clubs that have a place for everyone.
Overall, it's not a terrible place to have your high school experience. The honors and AP courses offered here really did prepare me for college, and the teachers (for the most part) are very good! Unfortunately, the administration is terrible. Literally, just take the most inept high school administration from any movie that takes place in high school and multiply that ineptness by 10. Good luck on that front!
