Mayfield senior school is one of the best schools in California. When I came to Mayfield, I knew no one. With all the student events I was easily able to make friends. Mayfield has almost overqualified teachers all the teachers know what they are doing and they want you to succeed. Along with that every Wednesday we have 40 minutes of office hours where you could meet with your teachers and get homework done. I feel like compared to other private schools in Pasadena Mayfield has 56% diversity. Mayfield is kind of a small school with 330 students. I love Mayfield Senior you barely notice that there are no boys at the school. Going to an all-girls school honestly, all the girls are really nice. Honestly, I love Mayfield but the academics are really hard. Math is super hard. There's pros and cons.
I think Mayfield is a really great school that really prepared me for college. The classes they offer are very diverse so that each student is able to find their interests. My favorite aspects about Mayfield are the sense of community and the abundance of resources the school has to offer the students. With such a small school, the community at Mayfield is very close and supportive. Mayfield also offers an abundance of amazing resources for all grade levels.
