Everything is Absolutely perfect, they have advisees to help you study, it is hard to be left behind. It's community is caring, everyone(well, most of us) is friendly, if you can socialize like a normal person, then there is nothing to worry about.

Just a few heads up here,
1: If u have something that u want to talk about and there is no one to talk with, talk to Rachel Spiegel, she is a really nice lady to talk with.

2: If u r not a international student, this is completely useless, if u r, continue reading.
The dorm manager here, btw, is currently Daniel Garica and his wife, Claudette Garcia. They r nice people if EVERYTHING goes along with them. If not, even it is just one little thing, and it's u, ur DEAD. they are TOTALLY UNREASONABLE.

Anyways, hope u have a good time here! :)

I have gone to Maumee Valley since 4th grade. Before I went to Maumee Valley, diversity, academics, and the overall daily routine of the school wasn't one of a school environment, it reminded me more of babysitting. They would watch us and encourage us to read and do math problems, but I was never really pushed to learn. Learning wasn't engaging. At Maumee Valley, you are pushed towards academics and fine arts like I wasn't before. I had the opportunity to learn violin at school for a low cost and it has given me more opportunities than I could have ever imagined. Every teacher is inspiring at what they do and cares about students in every aspect, it's very comforting. The nature and campus of the school is beautiful and comforting in itself as well. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
Overall Maumee Valley is very dedicated to getting students prepared for college. We have the capability of exploring future careers through mini internships that are provided three times a year. We also have a very large amount of clubs, sports, and activities that all students can get involved in. However, it seems that over the years I have attended each year we have a new college counselor. They can never find the right one and each year we are left with one who is worse than the year before. Maumee Valley also lacks in faculty when it comes to the math teachers. Most teachers are very accommodating and give thorough explanations during lectures, the math teachers do not. Quite frankly, it is very hard to learn or retain any information. The math teachers seem to know what they are talking about but know very little in how to explain it to students.
