My experience at Maui High was fairly good. I enjoyed making friends because my school was not only for one district or town, but two! What I like about Maui High is their staff. A lot of the teachers or staff I got along with and formed a good relationship with. I also really like the AVID program that I am apart of in my school. This program prepares students like me that are wanting to go to college, we do discussions, quizzes, and just anything to better prepare us for college. Although Maui High is a "college and career readiness" school, they did not really help my class in our junior year when it came to ACT test prep which was a little frustrating. However, overall Maui High is good high school and I think high school honestly is just what you make of it.

My experience at Maui High School is amazing. Maui High offers classes and activities that prepares you for college. There are many aspects I like about Maui High School. For starters, I love the teachers, they are supportive and they push you to do your best in everything you do and I enjoy the clubs they offer. Clubs is a highlight I love about Maui High School because it is a great opportunity for me to meet new people and continue to grow as a person. One major aspect I would like to see a change in Maui High is the mental program. There are students I encounter who are not mentally okay and it affects their academics. I believe improving their counseling system and connecting with the students more would be helpful
Maui High School offers the best education out of all of the public high schools on Maui. They also have an outstanding marching band which has competed in the Bands of America Grand National Championship and has performed in the Rose Bowl Parade. Maui High encourages students to learn and continue their education after high school. My time at Maui High was filled with numerous enjoyable experiences. I found a family within the band program, grew my knowledge in my classes, and was accepted by the students at Maui High.
