This school is extremely encouraging for students to succeed in the future. All the teachers look forward to helping their students learn. The staff is very nice and helpful in the office. The coffee with the principal has engaged several parents to learn about their student's academics and see changes in the school with their help. Not only are the teachers and staff incredible at their work but they keep the school safe for everyone to learn. This year in 2020, MSTMA created a welcoming community potluck where all the students at each grade level brought food and games as a stress-free day for everyone to enjoy. The only change I would like to see is having more money to put into trips for the students, different game equipment, money for better equipment in class such as chemistry and biology and different extracurricular classes.

I love how the students interact with their teachers. I have met many teachers that have inspired me and have changed the person I am. The people here have helped me become a better person. Not only that, but their academics are very good too. They offer many AP courses and college courses. I am very grateful that I have been able to take college level courses. Taking these courses have prepared me for college and for what’s to come. There sports teams are also very good. I love being able to go to a school that has a lot of school spirit for teams. Attending football games makes me happy because I am able to interact with my friends and classmates. The culture that the school has makes me feel at home and like I belong there. There are many students like me thay are Latinos. Being able to go to a school where students are like you and with the same dreams of being first generation going to college inspires me to do great and to be a good person.
MSTMA has given me opportunities such as taking college classes after and during school time. It has also given me the opportunity to get free waivers for the SATs which is very helpful since money did not have to come out of my pocket. Counselors make sure you are college ready. They make sure you have all your credits and are passing all your classes with a c or higher. Teachers also make sure you understand the material and when someone is lost they make sure to help out students so no one is left behind. Students here are very respectful and friendly, which plays a big factor in which I like this school. Overall this school is a great option to attend to if you want to have a good high school experience.
