The amount of classes built around the pathway you are in really helps you get a feel of what your future may look like. Tech also helps you figure out what you're truly interested in studying. Recently though, the interviewing process for incoming freshmen has lowered expectation-wise. Kids who are not willing to put forth the effort to try or are just there because their friends are here at Tech and don't care about their grades shouldn't be admitted to Career Tech school. The "professional" in Professional Dress on Wednesdays is no longer that. Our principals should crack down on this. The programs are still really amazing. If you want experience in your desired field, come to Tech. You can get college credits and certifications too! Lastly, even though Tech doesn't offer music or art classes and sports, we have lots of clubs and organizations. And if you play sports, you can play for your home school and still go to Career Tech High. This is what makes us diverse.
