What I liked about Maspeth High School was the amazing teachers and college readiness. The teachers here were very helpful and gave there own time and effort into making sure that each and every student was doing the best that they could. Since freshman year, this school has been preparing you for college all the way from sending you emails about scholarship opportunities to helping you complete your FAFSA application and being their every step of the way so that you are prepared and ready to go to the college you dream of going to.

Maspeth High School is a fairly new school, but it's worth going to. I will be a junior and I have loved my experience here. I'm in two Varsity sports and two clubs. This school definitely challenges you but it prepares you for the real world through Socratic seminars and debates to improve speaking skills. And the staff squishes any problems that occur which makes you feel safe. All in all, this is a very good school and I recommend this very much!
It's a pretty good school and there are a ton of resources for college readiness as the advisors are very hands on and always willing to sit down and talk to help you. The teachers are generally really nice and passionate about their subject aside from a bad apple here and there. Lots of clubs and sports, about average food, and really good AP and honors courses. The worst thing is the dress code and the rules they have. It can be a little bit suffocating at times, especially as a senior seeing as they have a new policy of restricting senior activities based off lateness and absences. Overall not bad as long as you find a good group of friends because the school gets very cliquey very fast so make friends early on.
