I started at Mascoma my senior year of high school. I had just moved to the area from out of state. All the teachers and students were so welcoming and did their best to help catch up on my work since I started a few weeks later than the other students. Everybody was super friendly too. Not to mention, the school was recently renovated so it was very clean, and modern. I've really liked it so far.
Mascoma was a very excellent school. It prepared me well for my college endeavors and the teachers work extremely hard to push their students. Every teacher has a personal connection with their students, whether it is inside jokes or buying new shoes for the less fortunate students. The teachers love their jobs and the students they teach. The only thing I would change would be the guidance faculty and maybe offering another employee to assist the students.
Mascoma is a great school. Most of the teachers genuinely care about the education and well-being of their students. There are a few advanced placement classes, though there could be more. Some faculty seem to not care much about their jobs or students, but most do. Most of the students have gained an incredible amount of school spirit since the new renovation.
