The school has an in depth understanding about different types of learners and wants to put the students in their proper place so that they can succeed. The advanced student are in the higher classes while the students who struggle are put into classes that'll help them. The school supports multiple different cultures included Mexican and Hmong cultures. There are plenty of clubs to pick from including the Academic decathlon, sports, creative writing, drama, leadership, and more. The sports are competitive and are, surprisingly, very skilled. I, personally, am more of an academic person, so my favorite part of the school is that it offers college readiness and advanced placement.

Whats most admired about my high school is our spirit, we have a lot of students involved in clubs/activities and extra circulars. Whether it’s dancing and singing to music played at lunch or rallies and games being filled by the excitement of the students. My last reason is our amazing teachers, each teacher that I have had throughout my years at Marysville have been dedicated, kind, and open-minded. They are very compassionate about their students passing their class. They take time recognizing each student who may need extra help to understand the material.
I am currently a senior at Marysville High School and I have been going there for all of my high school years. I feel like our money needs to be distributed better because most of our money is spent on technology and although I do think it is an important and necessary part of education nowadays I think that books, teachers, and overall education needs better budgets. I think that our teachers need to be better evaluated because most of our teachers have taught me absolutely nothing and all the class was to was another grade that would effect my future. In my 4 years of highschool I've had 28 classes and some of the teachers have overlapped and I've had twice. Out of those 28 classes I would say maybe a total of 10 classes have actually taught me something, and maybe 5 teachers have actually taught me something. For this reason more of our money obviously needs to go into evaluating our teachers and making sure they are qualified to teach a class.
