Marymount has taught me so much thus far in my secondary education. The math and science departments don't measure up to the history and English departments, which are amazing. There is a lot of work, but it's typically manageable. The food is hit or miss, but it is really helpful that it is included in the pricey tuition. There isn't as much diversity as there should be, but there is a growing effort for inclusion on campus. Overall, I do not regret attending Marymount, but there are always changes that need to happen at any school you go to. Marymount has made me more confident and efficient in and outside the classroom.

Overall, I feel prepared for college. The history department is very well run, while the other departments seem to lack quality faculty in one way or the other. The administration does a good job at running the school and listening to the students. The close-knit campus is something a value, as I know all my teachers and classmates very well. Comparing my experience to that of my mom's, who also went to Marymount, and faculty who have been there at the time, I can say that the school was definitely in better condition 30 some years ago. There are some parts of the school I will miss, like my friends I have made and some of the teachers, but overall I am happy to be graduating and moving on from Marymount.
My daughter graduated from Marymount in 2018 and we were extremely impressed with the school. Marymount is not only extraordinary in teaching English but has an incredible STEM program. My daughter spent a summer at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and got into the program for college. The college counseling is the best and my daughter ended up at the University of Virginia and just completed her 1st year, very happily.
