Mary P. Henck Intermediate Reviews

Mary P. Henck Intermediate School is what seems to be a basic middle school. However, I believe ones teachers and experiences can make the difference. To start, to earn your teachers’ respect is to give them respect. That’s one of the only ways to get by with a decent experience. Second, all of MPH’s sports are through other programs, such as Parks and Rec, and they don’t offer much of a variety in electives. They did have a band program, though it’s gone through changes and I’ve been informed there is now a choir. Wood shop and art, plus advanced classes for those subjects, are some of the only electives. In Leadership, they try lots of different spirit days but have basic dances. There is an AVID program and I’ve heard good things about the college/high school experience in the long run. Other than that, it does not have much to explore.
