Mary Lou Dieterich Elementary School Reviews

1 review
As a former elementary school student from 6 years ago the school had its benefits and cons. There is the issue of providing school lunch options that are healthy, so I highly recommend to pack your child's lunch to prevent childhood obesity from occurring. The teachers had at that time certain after school activities to help students falling behind in Math and English. Every year there is an annual jog-a-thon that all the student participate one morning. Parent Involvement is highly encouraged to bring after school activities for the children. When I was here I believe the Beginners Violin Lessons were still available, but now I've heard they have changed into recorders. The 6th graders are able to go to an outdoor education school for 5 days which is an amazing experience to have hands-on experience with science and witness the wilderness. I would have wished the school would offer a dual-language instruction to embrace diversity among the children.
