I have two older siblings who went to my high school. I used to hear of their experiences and stories after school most days. I been going to this school since my freshman year and I can say that my school is definitely progressive. This is something that really effected my overall experience at Martin Luther King Jr High. MLK has had there issues with behavior, rules, organization and academics but they do get fixed. I've had an average experience at my school because there are many organization problems with all types of events and schedules. My experience has not been bad because the main thing is our administrators listen and they try to do better.

I have been at Martin Luther King Jr. High School for two years now and there are fights every week, teachers who lack passion, and poor budgeting. When there is a fight the only discipline we receive is the WiFi being turned off. The teachers all have really bad attitudes and will give a student a piece of paper, instead of helping the student grasp the material properly. The budgeting is so bad that the teachers have to pay for most of their own supplies, and the school has to cut certain clubs or events. MLK needs a major adjustment.
My experience at Martin Luther King Jr. High School was good and bad. The reason that being is because I’ve had good experiences and bad experiences. For example the school setting isn’t all that bad but once I started my 9th grade year off everything when left do to the fact of hanging out with the wrong people and that’s what messed up my 9th grade year. My 10th grade got better. I focused on school way more and I choose better friends. The administration wasn’t really always there for support so that’s what made me have to change myself. My 11th grade is going I mean there’s a lot I have to do like SATs and scholarships. But my overall experience at MLK was pretty good.
