Martin L. Nesbitt, Jr. Discovery Academy is a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) high school located in West Asheville overlooking the beautiful downtown Asheville skyline. Our school serves approximately 400 students ranging from grades 9-12. Students begin earning college credit their freshman year and have opportunities to continue doing so in conjunction with courses at the honors and AP levels.

At Nesbitt Discovery Academy, students are in an environment which focuses on engagement, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and inquiry. Throughout their time at Nesbitt Discovery Academy, students are immersed in project-based learning, allowing them to develop solutions to "real-world" problems. In addition, they have the opportunity to establish partnerships/relationships with local businesses/industries and local colleges/universities.
