Martha B. King Middle School Reviews

The staff uses there authority to bully, berate, intimidate and humiliate the students. They smile in the parents face, and do evil behind there backs. The teachers are always gossiping about the students and they team up together and double team your child or children to the point they're afraid to speak up. They are verbally abusive when the student report a facility member. they start scheming to get the students in trouble, by writing them up for no good reason, suspending them, in school suspension or expelling the student. It is difficult to report a teacher when they are bulling the students, because no one believes the student. The faculty can use a lot more training on how to treat others as they want to be treated.

Admin, led by principal Michele Romeo, leads with a stick instead of a carrot. There is huge turnover in staff, with most reporting moving on due to the negative culture of the school. Students also are given little respect, but Romeo demands that all respect her. King has had decades of A ratings, but has moved to a C academically. The school and children deserve better.
