MUHS creates a community that encourages boys to mentor each other, give back to their community, and truly consider their purpose all while maintaining rigorous academic standards and providing ample opportunities for leadership in sports and clubs. The boys learn to be self-sufficient. They often organize the school events and run the events themselves with a high degree of efficiency, school spirit, and thoughtfulness. The older students continually take an interest in helping younger students connect to the school community when they arrive at MUHS because the ninth graders come from middle schools all over the region. The meaningful bonds between the boys is evident. The faculty is topnotch and highly committed. The school understands how to motivate young men both academically and socially. I’m always impressed by the maturity of the boys at MUHS.
the environment, safety, the people are all good, the staff are really nice. There is a ton of school pride on our campus. In general I find that students are just happy to be at Marquette and proud to represent the university, especially pertaining to social justice causes. The most frequent student complaints are about the residence hall visitation rules. Although Marquette is a very expensive school, it is worth every penny. If you work hard in high school and receive different scholarships, you can keep the cost comparable to a public college. Since it is a private school, the education overall is of the highest quality. Basically, you get what you pay for.
Marquette offers everything that you could want from a high school experience and then some. The coolest part about the High is that MUHS isn't only looking to give your son all the tools he needs to be successful in college but is also looking to care for and form the whole person. MUHS is an extremely formative four years in faith, growth as a person, and in developing a man for others.
