Marquette Catholic School Reviews
Rating 4.71 out of 5 28 reviews
Marquette provides its students with many opportunities to connect with their teachers, devolp a strong connection to their faith, and form morals that will last a lifetime. With Marquette's low enrollment rate, it allows all students to know each other on a personal level. There is never a face walking down the hall that you do not know. The only downside to this is sports are not always successful, and sometimes there are not enough people to even have a sports team. Another issue with Marquette's low numbers is the lack of diversity. The school is primarily made up of caucasion male and females amoung teachers and students, which is attributed to the lack of diversity in Bellevue, the town Marquette is located in. Although Marquette is not perfect like any school, Marquette provides its students with educational excellence, and many deep relationships that will last a lifetime; your classmates and teachers truly do become your family.
Marquette Catholic feels like one big family. Everyone is important here and the academics are outstanding. The teachers like to challenge each and every student, but only to help them grow. Along with growing academically, the school allows the students to grow in their faith as well. I think this school also differs from other schools because everyone has the opportunity to be involved in extracurricular activities. We have many different sport and clubs that are open to any and all students. Marquette is a part of who I am since I started attending the school when I was only in daycare and I have been here all the way up until my senior year and into graduation. This school is very safe, yet I still feel prepared to enter the world and really explore who I am when I get to college!
My time at Marquette Catholic has changed the way that I see everything. I am made to be prepared to be a self-motivated, professional, working member of society. Here at Marquette, they build their students to be academically driven leaders, responsible contributors, and active Christian stewards. I have enjoyed being able to grow closer to God through my school and create life-long friendships, friends, and relationships I would not find anywhere else. There is no other place like Marquette. The classes are small, but that makes it easier to talk to teachers, who genuinely care about what happens to their students.
