Overall Great School. Just need a few more inter gender social events. Prepared me well for the outside world of school and life. Got lifelong friends and completed many of my goals there. It being my third highschool made it even more special as I found it to be the best fit. Got to play sports and break records there. Like I said I’d recommend just more inter gender stuff through the school. Force more socialization. Diversity is on the come up! Go Marmion
It has been a great experience so far. The community you experience when going there is like no other, we call it the brotherhood and it is brings everyone together creating a more welcoming environment. The brotherhood grows every year you are there and stays with you as you contrite yourself journey in life. The teachers push you to do your best so that when you go to college it is much easier to get into the course work. It is also very open to new ideas that could bring involvement, being dances or just organized get togethers, being open is great because sometimes the old ways just need new ideas, which helps the brotherhood grow. There is a plan in place to grow the campus to make it much more updated to better fit the needs of the community and bring success to everyone who comes here.
From Freshmen year to now, Marmion was a great fit for me. I would’ve never thought attending a Catholic Benedictine private high school, during middle school, but my parents and I really admired this school. The reason why this school fit for me was because of how it strives to get you out of your comfort zone and to try something new. I joined the choir which I’ve never participated in school prior to Marmion; now I’m the president of the chorus. Ive done musicals, Special Olympics, school supply drives, and so much more while at Marmion. There’s Mass offered here everyday and all school Mass every month. Plus many clubs that are offered; Spanish club, guitar club, etc. This school is unique in so many ways and it’s incredible that a school like this even exists.
