Marlow High School is one of the oldest in Stephens County, Oklahoma. The high school campus consists of five buildings, two of which being glorified barns. The elder of these two buildings was previously used as a place for automotive studies and woodshop. Thankfully, however, the building has been repurposed to house the Computer Applications Lab and Art classroom for the modern generations. This does nothing to hide the building's age, of course, as there is very little insulation and a significant amount of dust found inside.

As for the campus as a whole, it was only recently that the school board decided to fund sidewalks to connect the three main buildings. The main gym for the high school campus is dirty, and the ceiling tiles fall fairly regularly. Despite this, students are still expected to use the building for its intended purposes. And yet, there always seems to be enough money for new sporting equipment rather than enough for new textbooks.

I love how close-knit Marlow High School is. The faculty genuinely care about the well-being of the students, as well as providing them with an education. Despite the epidemic Oklahoma has been going through with funds, MHS never cut programs and actually encouraged more involving activities that pertain to all students. Marlow always has its arms open wide for new students and opportunities to excel. Marlow High School is more than just a place for learning; it is a place to be safe, to be yourself, and will always be a place to call home.
Marlow High School has always been an outstanding school program with an amazing atmosphere. I always feel welcomed and cared for by peers and teachers everywhere. Maintenance in the school could be a change I would like to see but I still greatly enjoy Marlow High School.
