Sports teams provide a very homey atmosphere, even though the teams are not the highest ranking team in league matches sometimes (ex: football). Provides an extremely competitive academic atmosphere for children and definately prepares them for college; teachers in honors and AP classes are extremely well-versed in the material. However, the other faculty is absolute garbage. I would give them 0 stars if possible. The attendance office and counseling center do not help at all; they do not clear your absences, especially if you miss classes to participate in sport meets, and the counseling center give little to no advice.

Wonderful school with friendly teachers and staff. Provided excellent STEM courses. Not only that, but they also have many extracurriculars such as flag teams, show choir, marching band, and etc. The only thing is that there wasn't much freedom during lunchtime. Staff would block off hallways, so it was always hard to get to our lockers during lunchtime. overall a great school! made a lot of fun memories there.
Mark Keppel is very welcoming of people of all backgrounds. Information and help is always readily available. Students have the freedom to control how we want events to be run as participants. We work hard all year round, cooperate well, and take much pride in our school. Teachers are pleasant and effectively taught the material well. Although staff strictly enforces proper safety, I wish that they would enforce other school rules like dress code and cellphone usage during school hours more. Students struggle to talk about problems without the fear of judgement. Many hesitate to seek mental help due to school staff acting too quickly. Hearing out students would let them comfortably share their troubles. I face overwhelming pressure of work time to time. Stress and pressure would decrease if time spent on extracurriculars was reduced near finals. In conclusion, my school is overall excellent, but could improve on patience and balance of enforcement.
