I have been attending the
Marine Military
Academy for four years now as an international student, and I am proud to say that I fell in love with the academy, the military discipline, the order, the way that you get taught to be a leader, the academic system, the facilities, the food at the cafeteria, everything is amazing and ever since I came here my life and the way I felt about it change into a whole different perspective, it is an amazing school.

Marine Military Academy offers young men the real opportunity to experience life, become self reliant, build friendships and receive credit for jobs well done. If you work hard you will be rewarded, if you coast, you get what you put into it and if you just don't try you just don't get anything. Every aspect of how the school is run is based on simple real life rules of honor, respect, hard work and giving to others.

I wish every young man could have the chance to try the school. Amazing place among such a crazy social world we live in today. It allows them the chance to focus on learning, working hard and working with others. The school offers sports, community service, JROTC experience that is some of the best of the best. Additionally there are clubs like Key Club and NHS , CyberPatriot team, Rifle Team, you can learn to fly a plane or take cinematography among other things. This school has been going strong for 50 years and there is a reason for it! Excellent place!
I go to school here currently its my fifth school year here its an okay school honestly but you need to be a certain breed of person to excel here. You need to have a good balance of school and military in order to do well. If you want to come here there is a 4 week plebe training program that you can either do during the summer (which I highly recommend) or during the school year. In my opinion if you do it during the school year it gives you more to juggle because you have to worry about your CI’s (cadet instructors) and such. A perk of doing summer camp is that it is a possibility of being promoted. There is a rank structure at MMA where you get promoted if you do what your supposed to do and get your job done. Right now I am a Cadet Captain and I was a summer camper so it goes to show that you get a head start on your promotion.
