Marietta Center for Advanced Academics Reviews

Marietta Center for Advanced Academics (MCAA) is a wonderful elementary school that I attended when I was younger (4th-5th grade). Though the curriculum was very advanced, emphasizing learning on STEM, subjects were still fun & easy to understand.

I remember doing lots of hands-on projects, from science to ELA. The teachers had us interact with other students through group projects, and as a class, we'd even have engaging table talks as we'd review learning material together. One time my 4th-grade social studies teacher told us that our curriculum (i.e. materials, textbooks) equates to college-level learning. Amazingly, as a current Dual Enrollment student, I can attest to this fact. As an elementary school, many concepts we went into depth on at MCAA shared the same learning level as your everyday college.

Having its own diverse library, enthusiastic staff, outstanding resources & programs, as well as holding great concern for student health, MCAA is a phenomenal school to attend.
