It is an excellent private school. Their Catholic Identity is a big factor there. Marian is well known for their science and math programs. Many of their students get big awards for their projects. Marian also puts an emphasis on community service. They take a day out of the year where the whole school goes out into the community and does service. Throughout the year they offer many opportunities to help out the community. The arts program has become pretty good. Most of the students who went to arts competitions received awards. The performing arts department has begun to achieve a reputation for excellence. One of the only downsides is that it is an expensive school. Also, if you don't do well with a rigorous education, this school might not be for you.

I enjoyed the family like atmosphere. I would like to see more service opportunities offered. The administrators were extremely strict and prevented school spirit with all of the rules. They picked certain unimportant rules to focus on instead of doing their jobs. They would often only enforce the rules sometimes and not for every student. However, the teachers are always willing to help the students and provide feedback. The number of clubs available to students is unreal. There are so many to choose from. Sports are the same way. However, the volleyball coach needs to be fired. He is rude, offensive, and discouraging. Administration's attention has been brought to it, but they have neglected to do anything about it.
Marian High School fully prepared me for college with all of the AP and dual credit classes offered. Upon graduation, I had over 40 college credits. I do wish Marian was a more project-based school rather than test and quiz based. I learn better when applying the topics in a real-life situation. I do wish their music department was bigger. I would have loved to be part of a high school band/marching band. However, feeder schools do not push for fine arts education. Rather, they are more focused on the science and mathematics aspect of education. Overall, all of the teachers are very involved and genuinely care about each individual student.
