Marian differentiates itself from other schools through the dedication of its teachers and staff and the sense of community it fosters with the students. Marian teachers consistently go above and beyond to make sure all students understand the material and provide extra support for those students who need it. Additionally, Marian teachers are keenly aware of the social and emotional health of their students. They are consistently checking in with their students to make sure they can be successful inside and outside the classroom. The students have created a great sense of community through their classes, field day, homerooms, and activities. Marian has taught my daughter to thrive and to rise to challenges. I cannot recommend this school highly enough to prepare your daughters for college and life.
Opportunities are there to create clubs, take honors and AP courses, and Marian and Brother Rice have some shared courses which increases the amount of electives and core curriculum requirements. University classes were easier to adjust to and this school made me value the importance of the education I received at Marian.
Marian is an amazing school. A family like bond with not only your class but the whole school, incredible academics, and always outstanding sports. No significant complaints about the school, aside from the tuition and lack of diversity. Amazing food as well.
