I didn't realize how much Marcos De Niza High School lacked until I graduated and reminisced about high school memories with friends in university. Marcos De Niza provides the necessary components for students who want to stand as well as underperforming students. The top echelon of students have the support and encouragement to pursue greater prospects, but I worry that the students in-between are being left behind. Or rather, they are not as pushed to do better with their time and lives as other well-performing students. Like all experiences, it is what you make of it, and while Marcos De Niza High School doesn't have as much to offer as other high schools, the opportunity is there if you look for it or unrelentless push for them.

The main thing I love about Marcos de Niza is the diversity. I came from a school where there was so many kids that you hardly knew anyone’s name. I came to Marcos as a new student of course and being a small school I love how everyone knows one another and how we all connect. The staff here are the most humble and genuine people on the earth. That’s also why I loved this school is because every staff member was so nice and welcoming that I’ve created a bond with more than half of them. Something I would like to see change would probably be the way administration brings upon so guidelines and what not. Getting a new principle isn’t easy to accept but every since this school did some stuff has changed but not for the better. I’d also like to see some of the staff members of the office change as well as some of the best teachers have been treaty unfairly and I think it’s absolutely wrong to do so.
Marcos De Niza is very diverse. It's a great, safe, and positive environment. Everyone is accepting and easy going. There are many super great teachers that have had a significant impact on me and many other students I know. The only not-so-good thing is the Admin and Guidance offices. They aren't understanding or accommodating. If you attend this school, you'll have to get ready for constant surveillance and problems from Administration. Other than that, the students and teachers are excellent.
