I've attended Marco Island Academy most of my high school tenure. I came to the school as a sophomore. I found it easily to adjust since it's a small school.
It's great the class sizes are small and the teachers get to know the kids. Since the classes are small it's easy to get to know other kids. Even though the school is small it still has all the sports that a large high school has. Additionally, the administration staff truly cares about the kids. I find it very easy to reach out if I need help at anytime with my assignments etc. Although I will be graduating this year, they have started building a new school which will be wonderful once it's complete. Overall I highly recommend the school.

Marco Island Academy was a great high school for me because I was able to form healthy relationships with teachers and staff. The school was very small in population, so classes didn't have more than 20 people in each room. This opportunity allowed me to receive help from my teachers in any subject I was struggling with. This school always encouraged and supported everyone of the students. It was also encouraged to challenge yourself and to dream big, which is something I take with me everyday.
We love MIA. Our daughter is excelling academically, the staff is incredible and treats everyone like family, and the school offers a variety of clubs, sports, and academic opportunities. Our daughter especially likes the later starting time (no getting up at 5 a.m.) and the block schedule. The IGCSE and AICE classes offered are all excellent college-prep courses. The curriculum is outstanding and the the preparation for college is exceptional!
