My experience at this school was amazing. The small environment allows everyone to get to know everyone, and its almost impossible not to make friends. There are lots of rules, but the students themselves are very normal and accepting. There is a fun-spirited atmosphere and all the teachers genuinely care about all the students. Every teacher makes himself available for the students for academic help or encouragement. The academic quality is very high, and because of the small classroom size, much of the learning is hands on and students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. There are numerous activities to get involved in, and due to the size of the school, anyone who wants to can be involved. While attending this school, my class felt like family, and my teachers were people who loved me and cared about my life. I was more than prepared for college after my graduation, and would recommend this school to anyone who is seeking a quality education in a christian enviromnment. The rules are extensive and sometimes pointless, but the atmosphere and community is like nothing else.

The drama program is amazing. Everyone is able to try out, and even if a student doesnt get a part, all can participate in something relating to the production. Painting sets, setting up, costumes, and planning are activities that students volunteer and work together on.

The sports are also popular. Though teams are small, they become close to each other and play hard. The coaching and athletics are top quality, and the student body is very supportive at games.

WACS (Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools) is a big thing too. Every student has an opportunity to enter in any area they want, and display their talents and abilities. This is a really fun time for every student to work and compete individually and as a group.
I chose to attend a state university, and my experience is interesting. I have found that my private school background prepared me for college, and seemed to be better quality than public education. The other students at my university are not as knowledgeable and were not taught (or did not learn) the same things, and to the same extent as I did. Most of my peers at college don't know how to write formal papers, and don't seem to take school very seriously. The professors at college also seem to expect less of the students than was expected of me while in high school. I see a difference in the quality of education, and the level of respect expected from students.
