Maranatha Academy Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 5 reviews
The "leadership" at Maranatha refuses to take into account anything the parents say, then complain that parental involvement is low. They offer NO classes for college credit, despite multiple parents urging them to do so. Parents are often the ones pointing out distressing lapses in safety, policy and procedures to leadership. The leadership means well, but they are unorganized, and display a distressing degree of pride and stubbornness despite a track record of abysmal results.
I really enjoy going there, I have learned so much and they have a very high education that has prepared me for the world and what I can do to make a change. In this school they have taught me a lot about responsibility, being a leader, helping others. I am so thankful that I went there, it is one big family!
There are not many extracurricular opportunities at this school. There is art class which involves many different kinds of art that students enjoy. There is choir which involves singing in parts to many different songs. There is also student council which decides many of the activities the seventh through twelfth graders do.
My experience at this school so far has been great. I have learned many things that will help me with life after school. I would choose this school again because I don't think I could ever get a better education at another school. I have been challenged and have learned more than I would have ever expected.
The teachers at this school are very helpful and always help students when they don't understand something. They are available after classes and will explain any questions the student has. They are very approachable so a student has no problem going to one of the teachers and asking questions.
